Doha, The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 17.87 points, or 0.18%, to reach the level of 10,063 points at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, compared to yesterday’s closing.
The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Insurance by 0.49%; Real Estate by 0.38%; Industrials by 0.24%; Telecoms by 0.15%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.07%. On the other hand, Consumer Goods and Services fell by 0.08%, while Transportation remained flat.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,180 transactions worth QR 59.248 million, distributed to 23.205 million shares.
