Gaza: Ten Palestinians, including children, were martyred and others injured Friday in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the gate of a school north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip. Field sources in Gaza reported that Al Awda Hospital confirmed the shelling’s impact on a school housing displaced people in Nuseirat, resulting in the martyrdom of 10 Palestinians and injuries to others.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Awda Hospital further detailed that they received 14 martyrs and 69 injuries, with 21 being serious, as a result of the Israeli shelling targeting the new camp in Nuseirat since the morning. The camp has been subjected to intensive artillery shelling and air raids by the occupation’s warplanes, along with continuous reconnaissance and helicopter flights.
Several injuries were reported due to sporadic shelling in the camp, which targeted homes, lands, groups of residents, and the entrance to the new camp, which witnessed a belt of fire by the occupation’s warplanes. Earlier on
Friday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 43,259 martyrs and 101,827 injuries since October 7 of last year.
