11 Palestinians Martyred, Dozens Injured in Series of Israeli Raids on Gaza

Gaza City: Eleven Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured in raids and shelling operations launched by the Israeli occupation forces Monday on various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Civil Defense announced the martyrdom of six citizens, the injury of more than 30 others, and the disappearance of several individuals under the rubble due to an Israeli shelling of a populated residential area at Al-Ghafri Junction in Gaza City.

Medical sources reported that three citizens were martyred and others injured following Israeli occupation aircraft shelling near Al-Shamaa Mosque in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Additionally, two Palestinians were martyred and others injured as a result of Israeli shelling targeting a group near UNRWA schools sheltering displaced persons in Al Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

Several injuries were reported from shelling targeting individuals in Al Nafaq Street in Al Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City. In the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Rafah city witnessed artillery shelling amid gunfire and smoke bombs, with helicopters firing north of the city.

The ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has resulted in 46,584 martyrs and 109,731 wounded. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported two massacres against families in the Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in 19 martyrs and 71 wounded. Many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
