Gaza: At least 13 Palestinian civilians were martyred and several others injured on Sunday as a result of airstrikes and shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation army on various areas across northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that five Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli strike targeting groups waiting for aid in Mouraj area, south of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, one Palestinian was martyred and others wounded in shelling on a displaced persons’ tent in the Bir 20 area of Al-Mawasi region west of the city.
In central Gaza, one Palestinian was killed when Israeli fire targeted security personnel near Kissufim east of Deir al-Balah. Al-Awda Hospital reported the deaths of three Palestinians and injuries to ten others, including a pediatrician, due to Israeli attacks on a gathering west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
In Gaza City, three citizens were martyred and others injured when Israeli aircraft struck a residential apartment near Gaza Port in the western part of the city. Since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the toll has risen to 61,430 martyrs and 153,213 injuries.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression against Gaza after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18, following a two-month halt, targeting various parts of the Strip, which is already facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe after 22 months of war.
