13th Larache International Festival Set to Promote Cultural Exchange in Morocco.

Larache: The 13th edition of the Larache International Festival for Cultural Exchange is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, running from November 20 to 25, 2024. The event will witness participation from various continents, showcasing a rich tapestry of cultural expressions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the festival will be celebrated under the theme “Cultural Legacy: A Pillar of Sustainable Tourism,” featuring folk and music groups from an array of countries including India, Iraq, Spain, Bulgaria, Mexico, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Senegal, Paraguay, and the United Kingdom. These international participants will join groups representing the diverse cultural legacies of Morocco.

The festival’s itinerary includes tours by the participating teams through the significant streets and squares of Larache, complemented by symposia and workshops. It is organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication in collaboration with several Moroccan institutions. The festival serves as a platform to foster
dialogue and cultural exchange among nations through the arts and shared cultural heritages.

This event is poised to address pressing global issues by engaging the humanitarian conscience amidst ongoing conflicts and divisive rhetoric. It aims to revitalize the discourse of peace and promote values of coexistence through its diverse cultural program.
