15 Killed, 17 Injured in Israeli Raids on Eastern and Southern Lebanon

15 people were killed and 17 others were injured as a result of the continued Israeli raids on several villages and towns in eastern and southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that the Israeli raid that targeted Babeliya in southern Lebanon led to the death of four people, including two children, and the injury of eight others.

The statement explained that another raid on a neighborhood in the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon led to the death of six people, including a child, and the injury of five others.

The ministry reported that the Israeli raid on Kafr Hatta in the south led to the death of one person, in addition to finding remains whose identities are being verified.

It added that the Israeli raid on Al-Kharayeb in the south led to the death of 4 people and the injury of 4 others.

Meanwhile, the Israeli warplanes carried out two raids on the town of Majdal Zun and the common areas of the town of Al-Mansouri – Majdal Zun, and a raid on the town of Yater in the Bint
Jbeil district.

The Israeli warplanes also targeted the town of Khiyam with 4 raids. Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but in the last month the Israeli entity has increased the pace of air and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, which led to the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
