Gaza City: Seventeen Palestinians were killed and others injured today in Israeli shelling of eastern Gaza City, the Al-Sudaniya area in the north, and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli Quadcopter drones targeted a gathering in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing four people.
It added that Israeli artillery fired shells and machine guns at aid seekers waiting in the vicinity of the Al-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza, killing 12 people and wounding approximately 50 others. Meanwhile, one person was killed as a result of Israeli artillery shelling of the eastern areas of Khan Yunis.
Medical sources reported that 40 people were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the city of Khan Yunis since dawn today.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging an aggression against Gaza, using killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, while disregarding all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression that left, so far, over 183,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of many, including children.
