At least 18 people were killed and 24 others were injured after a bus fell off a cliff in the State of Nayarit in western Mexico, local authorities said.
The bus, from a private company, was transporting tourists on a 220-kilometer journey from Guadalajara in the neighboring state of Jalisco to the beach destination of Guayabitos in Nayarit when it went off the road, authorities explained.
The cause of the accident was not known.
