At least 20 people were killed in a bus accident that fell from a bridge in the city of Venice, northern Italy.

According to Italian fire services, the bus caught fire after it fell from a bridge 15 meters above the ground, linking the regions of Mestre and Marghera in the north of the country.

Firefighters reported that a number of people were also injured during the accident.

Emergency services were already present at the scene of the accident with several ambulances... while the exact circumstances of the accident are still not clear yet.”
