Gold prices declined Monday, due to the rise of the dollar, as investors await the results of the Federal Reserve (US central bank) meeting on monetary policy and the future of interest rate cuts on Wednesday.

Ooredoo, a Qatari public shareholding company, has achieved a net profit of QR1.861 billion, in the first half of 2024, representing a 14% increase compared to the profits realized in the same period of 2023, which were QR1.625 billion.

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 22.43 points, or 0.22 percent, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,147 points, compared to yesterday’s closing.
