Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate in the Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of (3) networks specialized in human trafficking and electronic extortion.

The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement: “Baghdad intelligence and security detachments arrested (3) networks specialized in human trafficking and electronic extortion operations, including two women in Karrada, Arsat, and Al-Mashtal in Baghdad.”

It added: “One of the networks filmed the girls through social media programs and blackmailed them in exchange for money, in addition to these networks buying and selling children through social media programs, and the necessary measures were taken against them and handed them over to the competent authorities.”/ End
