Nablus: Seven Palestinians, including three children, were wounded in attacks by Israeli occupation forces in several areas of the West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed three children were injured by live bullets during the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the Askar Al-Jadeed refugee camp, east of Nablus.
Two Palestinians from Tulkarm refugee camp were injured when Israeli occupation forces attacked them while they were passing near the Anab military checkpoint, located east of Tulkarm. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its crews responded to injuries resulting from a direct assault carried out by the occupation forces on two individuals. They were transferred to the Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Government Hospital for treatment.
A Palestinian man and his wife were also injured in an Israeli drone strike on the northern entrance to Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank, followed by heavy live fire. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society told WAFA that its crews responded to a woman who was seriously injured by shrapnel throughout her body. She was transferred to the Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Government Hospital, along with her husband, who was also injured in the attack.
West Bank cities have been witnessing a continuous escalation by the Israeli occupation and its settlers since Oct. 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of approximately 1,000 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 7,000 others.
