Doha: Eight people were killed and two others injured in an explosion at a fireworks shop in Dong'an District, Donghai County, eastern China.
According to Qatar News Agency, the explosion occurred when someone improperly lit fireworks near the shop. The resulting fire was extinguished following a swift rescue operation.
