Today, Friday, border forces arrested nine infiltrators who attempted to cross the border illegally in Maysan and Sulaymaniyah governorates.

A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated, “Through continuous field follow-up to prevent cases of infiltration and smuggling, the First Regiment in the Tenth Border Brigade was able to arrest a group of (6) people with foreign nationality while they were trying to cross the border strip illegally within the administrative Maysan Governorate borders.

The statement added, "In Sulaymaniyah, the Third Regiment of the Third Border Brigade was able to arrest (3) foreigners who attempted to cross the border, as a proper arrest report was organized and legal measures were taken against them."/End
