Nepal was struck by an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported that the earthquake occurred 51 km northeast of the city of Debayal, at a depth of 25 km.
The earthquake's aftershocks reached India, where they were felt by residents of the capital, New Delhi, and buildings swayed for several minutes. According to sources, the earthquake continued for a minute and a half.
