The security forces arrested a drug dealer and seized more than five thousand narcotic pills in his possession in a district of Babylon.

A security source said: "The drug dealer was arrested in a tight ambush in Al-Haswa area of Alexandria district, based on intelligence information, and more than five thousand narcotic pills and unlicensed weapons were seized in his possession."

He added: "The accused was transferred to the competent authorities for interrogation, and the seized items were kept."
