Civil Defense teams fought a fire that broke out in a salt production plant in the Canaan district of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that civil defense teams were able to extinguish a fire that broke out in a salt production plant in the Canaan district, east of Baquba, noting that the fire consumed parts of the factory.
He added that the causes of the fire are unknown, and a forensic team has begun investigating to uncover the circumstances of the accident.
