A Saudi source expressed his hope that his country’s agreement with Iran would reflect positively on the crises in the region.

The source said in statements to Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath channel today, Thursday: “We hope that the agreement with Iran will reflect positively on all files and crises in the region.

The Saudi source explained that the agreement with Iran provides for respect for sovereignty and stopping interference, and also provides for resolving differences with all Arab and Islamic countries.

Earlier in the day, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan confirmed that the Kingdom agreed with the Iranian Republic to respect the sovereignty of states, good neighborliness, and resolve differences.

Saudi Arabia and Iran announced, last Friday, the resumption of diplomatic relations between them and the reopening of the embassies and representations of the two countries within 60 days, after talks sponsored by China.

Saudi Arabia, Iran and China issued a joint tripartite statement, in which the three countries announced that Iran and Saudi Arabia had signed an agreement to resume relations between the two countries, under the auspices of Chinese President Xi Jinping./ End
