The Basra police arrested a suspect who was seized with narcotic drugs.

The Basra Governorate Police Command stated, according to a statement: The detachments of the Martyr Lieutenant Colonel Qassem Jamil Al-Salami of the Shatt Al-Arab Police Department arrested a suspect who was caught in his possession narcotic substances.

It stated in its statement that the process of arresting the accused was carried out through careful inspection of vehicles and people passing through the checkpoint, and that it will refer the accused to the competent authorities to take legal measures against him after completing the control and investigation procedures.
