A force from the Fourth Region Border Command arrested a wanted person in the maritime checkpoint, south of Basra.

A source in the leadership told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that "a force from the Coast Border Command (the fourth group) arrested a suspect wanted by the judiciary in the maritime checkpoint when he tried to enter from the sea towards Iraqi territory in Al-Faw district, south of Basra, on board a fishing boat.

He added: Legal measures have been taken against him.
