A team from the Prime Minister’s Office inspected those injured in Hamdaniya fire incident, in Erbil Governorate.
A statement by the Ministry of Health stated, “Based on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the follow-up of Minister of Health Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, Saleh Dhamad, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Health Affairs, accompanied by the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Khamis Al-Saad, headed a team to inspect the injured and their families in Hamdaniya district fire incident, who were admitted in Health institutions in Erbil Governorate.
The team was received by the Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Region, Saman Barzanji, Majid Shankali, Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee, and Delovan Muhammad Fateh, Director General of Erbil Health.
According to the statement, the team visited health institutions in Erbil, which included the Erbil Burns Emergency Hospital and the West Erbil Emergency Hospital, and was informed of the health status of the injured, met with their families, and expedited procedures for securing treatment inside and outside Iraq for the injured whose health condition allows travel according to the medical team’s assessment.
