The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Assadi, met with the Palestinian Minister of Labor, Dr. Enas Al-Attari, in the presence of the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, today on the sidelines of the 50th session of the Arab Labor Conference in Baghdad. Al-Assadi said during the meeting that the Iraqi government and people, with all their opinions, support the Palestinian cause and the establishment of an independent state with Holy Quds as its capital, noting that the position of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani is considered the largest Arab position towards Palestine, out of belief in the cause of its people to defend themselves and determine their fate. He added that Iraq has various activities in support of Palestine, and there are decisions taken by the Council of Ministers to support the Palestinian cause, indicating that the ministry has a project idea that it will present to the Arab Labor Organization to establish a special fund to support Palesti ne.
