Al Duhail: Al Duhail was crowned champion of the Qatar Handball Cup for the 2024-2025 season, after defeating Al Arabi 30-26 in the final match held on Monday at Al Duhail Sports Hall. This victory marks Al Duhail’s third triumph in the tournament, following their wins in the 2017-2018 and 2019-2020 seasons. Meanwhile, Al Arabi missed the chance to secure their third title in the competition.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Duhail demonstrated superior performance throughout the match. They established a strong lead in the first half, ending it 16-11. The team maintained their dominance into the second half, ultimately winning by a margin of four goals.

After the match, HE First Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Mohammed bin Yousef Al Mana, along with President of the Qatar Handball Federation Ahmed Mohammed Al Shaabi, presented Al Duhail with the championship cup and gold medals. Al Arabi was awarded silver medals for their efforts.

Al Duhail reached the final after a close victory over Al Rayyan, winning 23-21 in the semi-final. Al Arabi earned their place in the final by defeating Al Ahli 31-26 in the other semi-final match.
