The Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed today, Monday, with the Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, concerted efforts to maintain stability in Iraq.
The two sides also discussed, according to a statement by al-Hakim’s office, “the Iraqi and regional political scenes.”
Al-Hakim called for “approving legislative entitlements in a way that contributes to serving the citizen,” expressing his satisfaction with the state of regional response and the messages of mutual calm between the parties in the region.
He stated, “The government is serious about implementing its electoral program in accordance with the set priorities.
Al-Hakim listened, from Plasschaert, to the optimistic vision of the United Nations for the situation in Iraq, given the calm and stability it is witnessing in the current circumstance.
