Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, stressed the importance of the development road as it is a strategic road linking the East with the West.
During his meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Riza Konay, according to a statement from his media office, Al-Hakim stressed the importance of strengthening commonalities and investing in promising opportunities that are in the interest of the two countries, indicating the importance of the development path as a strategic path linking the East to the West through Iraq and Turkey, and that Turkey is a natural partner for Iraq in this file.
The head of the Al-Hikma Movement expressed his confidence in the possibility of overcoming the points of disagreement between the two countries, noting: “The stability of Iraq reflects positively on the region and the world,” reiterating his support for the political reforms adopted by Al-Sudani government.
He also renewed his support for holding local elections on time, indicating their necessity to enable the governorates to choose their councils, appoint their governors, and invest in promising opportunities in the field of reconstruction and development.
