Al-Hakim: The new Iraq is open to everyone and seeks to expand the circle of commonalities and reduce the circle of differences


Baghdad, The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, confirmed that the new Iraq is open to everyone and seeks to expand the circle of commonalities and reduce the circle of differences.

Al-Hakim said in a statement, ‘We met in our office with a delegation from neighboring Turkey, which included a number of researchers, those interested in political affairs, and opinion writers. We pointed out the depth of the historical relationship that brought together the two friendly and neighboring Muslim peoples and the impact of this relationship on the security and stability of the region.’

He stressed, during the meeting, that ‘the new Iraq is an Iraq that is open to everyone and seeks to expand the circle of commonalities and reduce the circle of differences,’ explaining that ‘there are many commonalities between Iraq and Turkey on the religious, social, economic, and geographical levels, and we called for the trilogy of water, security, and economy.’

He stated, “The experience has proven the regio
n’s need for Iraq’s stability,” stressing “investing in the path of development to put Iraq and Turkey on the path to global trade.”

Regarding the Gaza crisis: We stressed the importance of a unified Islamic position to confront the challenges, stop the war, provide relief to the displaced, and rebuild the city, and we held the international community responsible for stopping the massacres and genocide to which the Palestinian people are exposed.
