Baghdad The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received today, Friday, a phone call from Federal Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
During the phone call, Al-Kadhimi expressed his condolences and sympathy for the death of a number of citizens as a result of the floods caused by heavy rains, calling for a speedy recovery for the injured.
The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government spoke about the measures taken by the regional government in the face of floods and torrential rains, especially in Erbil.
The Federal Prime Minister affirmed that the federal government will take all necessary measures to help institutions in the Kurdistan Region to deal with the recent wave of floods.
The two sides discussed various developments and ways to strengthen cooperation between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government at various levels in order to achieve security and stability and guarantee the interests of the Iraqi people with all its components.
