Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Head of the Iraqi (Qaeda) Base Alliance, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, confirmed that the elections are the starting point towards reform.
Al-Mandalawi said during his meeting with the Alliance candidates in the local elections in Dhi Qar Governorate, headed by MP Dawood Al-Eidan: “The elections are the starting point towards reform, and through them the voter expresses his will for change, by choosing someone to represent him in monitoring and following up on the performance of the local authority and drawing up plans for development projects and strategy, and candidates must work to advance their governorates at all levels.”
The meeting touched on the conditions of Dhi Qar Governorate and the needs of the people for basic services, and discussed the electoral program of the Alliance, which focuses on serving the people and improving the service reality of the governorates, and the importance of adhering to it to achieve the desired development.
