Jeddah: Al-Sadd qualified for the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025'2026 season after defeating Saudi side Al-Hilal 4'2 on penalties, following a 3'3 draw after regular and extra time. The match was played on Monday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, in the Round of 16 (West Zone).

According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Sadd's goals were scored by Claudinho in the 36th minute, Rafa Mujica in the 58th minute, and Roberto Firmino in the 71st minute. Al-Hilal's goals came from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the 29th minute, Salem Al-Dawsari in the 55th minute, and Leonardo in the 67th minute.
