Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Monday, the principled position of Iraq in adopting the call for dialogue as a basis for resolving international and regional problems and disputes.

A statement by his media office stated that Al-Sudani received, today, Monday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Ivanovich Kuleba and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries, ways to develop them and enhance trade and economic exchange.

Al-Sudani affirmed, according to the statement, the government’s openness to expanding the horizons of cooperation between the two countries, referring to Iraq’s principled position in rejecting wars and armed conflicts, and its adoption of the call for dialogue as a basis for resolving international and regional problems and disputes.

For his part, the Ukrainian Minister expressed his country’s desire to activate joint committees between the two countries and support bilateral cooperation, and his government’s appreciation of Iraq’s regional and international status, and its prominent pivotal role in supporting international stability efforts and peace initiatives.
