Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani congratulated Iraqi journalists on their celebration of the (155) anniversary of Iraqi Press Day.

Al-Sudani said in a tweet on the X website: We affirm our support for the essential role of journalism and media in completing the democratic and constitutional approach, and serving the right of Iraqis to fair knowledge, as we remember, with appreciation and reverence, the martyrs of journalism, and the sacrifices they made, which served the truth, and defended Iraq.

He concluded: Every year, our journalism is well and on the right professional path.
