Mp for Sadiqoun Bloc, Suhaila Al-Sultani, revealed today, Sunday, a parliamentary move to host the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding the border demarcation file with Kuwait, while she confirmed that there are many vague questions regarding the negotiating delegation that will be directed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Al-Sultani said, according to the bloc’s website, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the first party concerned with this sovereign file in order to end the abuses and thefts of Iraqi oil and gas fields,” noting that “the hosting movement took place from the parliamentary Sadiqoun bloc in Parliament.”
She continued, “International maps were requested to demarcate the borders and ensure that Iraq’s territorial rights are not infringed,” pointing out that “it is necessary for the government to move towards returning the parts granted by the defunct regime to Kuwait.
She continued, “The government should also support this file because of its great economic importance that will return to the country, in addition to ending the territorial abuses on Iraq’s oilfields,” noting that “there are many vague questions regarding the negotiating delegation and the entire file that needs clear answers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
