Al wakrah: Al Wakrah defeated Al Sadd 3-1 in their match on Thursday, the opening game of the second round of the Qatar Volleyball League for Men. All matches are being played at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall, with 10 clubs participating.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Wakrah's scores were (25-21), (25-20), (25-27), and (25-21). With this result, Al Wakrah raised their points tally to 25, maintaining their lead in the standings, four points ahead of Police in second place. Al Sadd remain at the bottom of the table with two points, two points behind Al Gharafa in ninth place.

In another match, Al Rayyan defeated Al Khor 3-0, with scores of (25-13), (25-13), and (25-19). Al Rayyan moved up to fourth place with 19 points, two points behind Al Arabi in third, while Al Khor remained in seventh place with 11 points.

The tenth round of matches resumes on Saturday with a single game between Al Arabi and Al Shamal, who are currently eighth with six points. It is worth noting that Al Rayyan won the championship title last season after defeating Al Arabi in straight sets.
