Doha: The Arab Labor Organization (ALO) affirmed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on Doha last Tuesday, stressing its support for the diplomatic steps taken by the State of Qatar by referring the issue to the United Nations. In a statement Thursday, the ALO noted that this attack represents a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and the sanctity of its territories, and a blatant breach of the provisions of international law and the UN Charter.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ALO emphasized that respect for the sovereignty of Arab states and the sanctity of their territories is a non-negotiable principle. The ALO renewed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, calling on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and take deterrent measures to halt these violations and ensure accountability for the occupying entity that has violated Arab countries.

The ALO pointed out that this dangerous escalation, targeting political figures in Doha during a negotiation process, undermines international and regional efforts, as well as the mediation process undertaken by the State of Qatar, to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
