Amir of Kuwait and UAE President Engage in Talks on Bilateral Ties and Regional Issues

Kuwait city: HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan focused on strengthening bilateral ties during a meeting that took place on Wednesday. The discussions included ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders also reviewed the latest regional and global developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East. They reiterated their support for initiatives aimed at achieving a comprehensive and just peace, emphasizing the importance of the two-state solution and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to ensure security and stability in the region.

The Amir of Kuwait and the President of the UAE underscored the necessity for international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state to continue, aligning with the aspirations of the Palestinian people. Additionally, the meeting addressed matters of mutual interest within the Gulf Cooperation Council, emphasizing support for efforts that promote unity among member states.
