Highlighting the developments in technology and the regulatory environment related to e-payment and its role in supporting economic development in Syria, were the focus of the two-day APEX EXPO 2024. The Expo is organized at Damascus-based Dama Rose Hotel by the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics, in cooperation with Thiqa Company and a broad participation of online payment companies, the Central Bank of Syria (CBS) along with investors and specialists in the field of e- payment. The exhibition activities began on Thursday and will conclude today through multiple dialogue sessions that address the legal and technical framework of the e-payment system, experiences and studies from public and private bodies on the digital transformation strategy, in addition to the Central Bank's vision for online payment and the challenges facing implementation.
