Arab American University and Hclinic Specialized Hospital sign a cooperation agreement to train human medicine students

Ramallah – Together – The Arab American University and Hclinic Specialized Hospital signed a joint cooperation agreement to train students of the Faculty of Human Medicine enrolled at the university on its Ramallah and Jenin campuses. The university was represented by the Vice President of the Ramallah Campus, Professor Muhammad Asia, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Malik Zabin, while the hospital was represented by its Medical Director, Dr. Jihad Mishal, and the Director of Personnel Affairs, Hadeel Sawafta.

The terms of the agreement revolve around providing a high level of training to human medicine students in the clinical stage and before, at the hands of the most skilled specialist doctors at Hclinic Hospital in the departments of internal medicine, general surgery, children, women, obstetrics, and specialized departments of orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, emergency, anesthesia, and diagnostic radiology.

Prof. Dr. confirmed Muhammad Asiya said that the agreement is considered an important step towards achieving a strategic partnership with Hclinic Hospital. He said: ‘The signing of the agreement comes in the context of the university’s approach to developing medical education according to high levels of quality, and we seek to adopt the best modern educational means and methods in the specialty of human medicine.’

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University, Dr. Malek Zabin stressed the importance of providing medical students with high-quality practical skills and said: ‘We seek to develop the College of Medicine and support its students and staff. The quality of training will contribute in the future to improving the reality of services and health care provided to citizens in Palestine.’

In turn, Dr. said: Jihad Mishal: ‘The management and doctors of the Hclinic Hospital believe in the importance of giving the best training opportunities and special attention to future doctors. Improving the capabilities and knowledge of medical students is the true indicator of the advancement of the health sector and the quality of services.’

It is noteworthy that the Arab American University provides a specialization in human medicine to its students on its campuses in Ramallah and Jenin, and seeks through these agreements to strengthen its position as a leading educational institution in the field of medicine in the region.
