New Delhi, An "IndiGo" flight received a bomb threat at Delhi Airport on Tuesday morning, prompting authorities to evacuate its passengers and launch a search operation, the Indian authorities announced. Delhi airport authorities indicated that the plane was on a domestic flight from New Delhi to the city of Varanasi in the state of Uttar Pradesh, located in northern India. An airport spokesman confirmed the safety of all passengers, and that they were evacuated from the emergency exits without any injuries. All necessary protocols were followed and the aircraft was taken to a remote bay as per guidelines by airport security agencies. The flight is currently undergoing inspection.
