Brooklyn Museum Celebrates its 200th Anniversary with “Solid Gold” Exhibition.

New York City: The Brooklyn Museum in New York City has launched an exhibition titled “Solid Gold” to celebrate its 200th anniversary. Running until July 2025, the exhibition features over 500 showpieces, including paintings, furniture, antiques, jewelry, and clothing, as well as gifts received by famous artists.

According to Qatar News Agency, the exhibition aims to highlight the many epics of gold that have inspired cultures and legacies around the world, starting from the eras of ancient Egypt to modern rhythms. The Brooklyn Museum is the second largest exhibition center in New York and includes collections of natural sciences and ethnology as well as designs and works of art from the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. The steel sculpture “Sooner or Later” stands in the front courtyard of the museum.
