According to Qatar News Agency, marking the award's 2nd edition's ceremony held on Wednesday, Al Kaabi added that this year's edition presented inspiring models in the course of government work and reflected impressive results achieved to improve performance.
He pointed out that the results of the second edition of the award showed an increase in the overall performance of government agencies by 38 percent compared to the previous edition, as more than 97 percent of government agencies succeeded in raising the level of their performance and results. This edition also witnessed the participation of more than 50 percent of national experts in the evaluation process.
He indicated that the Qatar Government Excellence Award is undergoing continuous development, and a new category has been launched within the award categories, which is the leadership in the use of artificial intelligence award for government entities, in addition to launching a number of other individual awards that will be adopted in future editions.
