London: Chelsea announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte on a season-long loan from Brighton. In a statement on Monday, the club confirmed that the 20-year-old had officially joined Chelsea and would begin his campaign with the team across all competitions this season.

According to Qatar News Agency, Buonanotte moved to Brighton in January 2023 from Argentine club Rosario Central and made 50 appearances in all competitions over a season and a half. Last season (2024-25), he spent the campaign on loan at Leicester City, where he scored six goals in 35 matches.
