Gaza City: A 4-year-old child died in Gaza city due to malnutrition, bringing the number of malnutrition victims in the besieged Gaza Strip to 58. Medical sources reported that during the last 80 days of the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, 58 citizens died due to malnutrition, and 242 others died due to lack of food and medicine, most of them elderly and children.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation continues its systematic starvation policy against approximately 2.4 million citizens in the Gaza Strip by closing the crossings to aid supplies piling up on the border since March 2, plunging the Strip into famine.
