Civil Defense Directorate teams extinguished a fire that broke out inside the “Laghdawi Al-Ahliyya” fuel station located on the left side of the city of Mosul due to a health emergency. A private vehicle driver suffered pain, which led to him colliding with the fuel pump and spilling gasoline, then igniting nearby vehicles, which necessitated the immediate intervention of Civil Defense teams.

A statement by the Directorate explained that the civil defense teams were mobilized, contained the fire, isolated the burning vehicles from the rest of the pumps, removed the danger of fire from a tank carrying gasoline fuel parked inside the station, and completed their work of extinguishing and cooling in conjunction with ensuring the transfer of the injured drivers to the nearby hospital to receive the necessary treatment there.
