Jerusalem: At least 268 colonists entered the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

According to Qatar News Agency, the colonists conducted their visit in a provocative manner, performing Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation police forces. The presence of these forces ensured the colonists’ activities within the Al-Aqsa Compound courtyards.

The Israeli occupation forces have been increasing their security measures at the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City. This escalation follows the intensification of their aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Occupied Jerusalem, since October 2023.
