Doha: The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing both academic and professional cooperation. This initiative is set to expand educational opportunities for CCQ students in the fields of finance and business, promoting a knowledge-driven approach that aligns with Qatar’s developmental goals.

According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed by CCQ President Dr. Khalid Mohamed Al Horr and QCPA Chairman Dr. HasHem Abdulrahim Al Sayed. The partnership underscores the strategic importance of collaboration between academic institutions and professional bodies, focusing on national development and the empowerment of Qatari talent in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The MoU establisHes a framework for collaboration, allowing both institutions to share expertise and knowledge. QCPA aims to enhance CCQ students’ understanding of financial and accounting principles, international accounting standards, and the importance of financial reporting.

QCPA plans to achieve these objectives through joint programs and initiatives that support its mission of advancing the accounting profession and promoting financial literacy within society.
