Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 63,371 Martyrs, 159,835 Wounded

Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has soared to 63,371, with 159,835 reported wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, a statement by Gaza’s Ministry of Health on Saturday reported that the enclave’s hospitals received 66 martyrs during the latest 24-hour reporting period, of whom 4 were dug out, and 345 wounded. The statement added that the recorded casualty toll since the Israeli occupation breached the ceasefire deal on March 18 reached 11,240 martyrs and 47,794 wounded.

The toll among those who were killed while queuing for aid and received by hospitals in the past 24 hours reached 15 martyrs and 206 injured, bringing the total number of those who died while trying to make a living and received by hospitals to 2,218, with 16,434 wounded, the statement continued.

Over the past 24 hours, Gaza’s hospitals recorded new deaths, among them 3 children due to starvation and malnutrition, thereby spiking the total number of war-of-starvation victims to 332 cases, including 124 children.

The toll of casualties from the Israeli war of annihilation on the enclave remains tentative due to the existence of thousands of victims under the rubble, as medics and civil defense rescuers are unable to reach them because of shortages of equipment and the Israeli targeting of any relief operations in Gaza.
