Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has reached 67,806 martyrs and 170,066 injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Strip received 124 fatalities and 33 injuries over the past 24 hours, including 117 people whose bodies were recovered. It added that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity, which was reached in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh, went into effect on Friday, after the occupation announced that its government had approved the agreement, and that its army had begun withdrawing from populated areas and sites in the Gaza Strip, and that the displaced had begun returning to the northern Gaza Strip. This is within the framework of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza.
