Beirut: The death toll of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 2023 has risen to 3,002, with 13,492 injured. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties and has caused widespread displacement within the country.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in a statement on Monday that recent Israeli raids on Sunday resulted in 16 additional deaths and 90 injuries. The escalation of violence has severely impacted the civilian population, leading to a humanitarian crisis.
Lebanon has been subjected to increasing Israeli aggression since October 2023. However, since the end of September, the Israeli army has intensified its air and artillery bombardment at an unprecedented rate. The scope of the attacks has expanded to include the capital city, Beirut, resulting in thousands of casualties and forcing over a million people to flee their homes in search of safety.
