Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather report indicating that inshore conditions will be misty to foggy in certain areas until 6 p.m. today. The weather will transition to moderately warm during the daytime, accompanied by scattered clouds, and there will be poor horizontal visibility in some regions initially.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore weather will also begin as misty, later becoming hazy with scattered clouds. Inshore winds are expected to be variable initially, shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 3-13 KT. Meanwhile, offshore winds will remain variable, predominantly southwesterly to northwesterly, at similar speeds of 3-13 KT.
Sea conditions are forecasted to be relatively calm, with inshore waves reaching heights of 1-2 feet and offshore waves ranging from 1-3 feet. Visibility is predicted to be between 3-9 km, potentially dropping to 2 km or less in some areas. Offshore visibility will be slightly better, ranging from 4-9 km but may also reduce to 3 km or less initially.
