Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani has discussed defense cooperation and regional developments with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. The meeting took place on Tuesday during the Singaporean minister’s visit to the State of Qatar and focused on the latest security developments in the region, as well as ways to enhance joint coordination amid current challenges.

According to Qatar News Agency, officials from both sides, including senior military officers, attended the talks, which form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. These discussions are crucial as both nations seek to address regional security concerns and explore avenues for enhanced collaboration in defense. The dialogue underscores the commitment of Qatar and Singapore to maintain stability and peace in the region through mutual cooperation.
